Dr. Fares Diarbakerli is board-certified by the American Board of Obstetrics / Gynecology (ABOG), Minimally invasive Gynecology and a member of the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists (AAGL).

Dr. Diarbakerli completed his OB/GYN residency at Mount Sinai / St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in New Jersey, during which time he also completed an externship in GYN oncology.

In addition to his practice at NJ Best OB/GYN, Dr. Diarbakerli is an attending physician at Mountainside Hospital, Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center, Clara Maass Medical Center, and Overlook Medical Center. He is the recipient of numerous honors and awards, including Resident of the Year, a Special Excellence in Endoscopic Procedures Award from the AAGL, Best Teaching Resident award from Mount Sinai, and from Aleppo University School of Medicine, the Top Three Dean’s Honor List and the Bassel Certificate for Distinguished Study. He was also one of the surgeons who performed the first single incision total laparoscopic hysterectomy in the state of New Jersey.
